In every liberation movement, organisation plays a dominant role in harmonizing and accelerating the pace for liberation. The role of organising masses of Afrikans falls upon all commited and devoted youths. At present only through engaging of masses of afrikan people will the unity be achieved. Use of violence as a unifying factor no longer has its place in current world. This process of unity will be slow but the most firm for posterity.
First responsibility is to all persons seeking unity among Afrikan states to seek other like minded persons in different states, even despite the ideological differences they might have. This small group from the states must work together to develop a common ideology that will be the foundation to the unification and hold the ideals for the single nation. The members of the small group will be founders of the liberation and coordinate activities of the different associations.
These members then will have to make associations in their states and begin recruiting Afrikans to the ideals of the liberation. From the start, the members must be informed the ultimate aim of the association is to unite the states of Afrika. Members must have be educated on the founding principles of the associations. It is the responsibility of the association to shape the opinions of its members on the beliefs of the association. In regards to liberation, Afrikans must be taught need for liberation through giving historical similarities, how unity will benefit Afrikans. This must be acheved through lectures, media education, physical and online discussions, having questions and answers sessions. Recruitment of more members should also be continued through actively participating in voluntary activities in community, courageously voicing out issues of the community, holding demonstrations and educating students in tertiary, secondary and primary schools. Spirit of commonness must be promoted through having same attires, unique slogans. All members must be tasked with the responsibility of bringing new members.
With increased membership the association must begin to transform into a mass organisation movement where the economic and social challenges must begin to be addressed through advocacy and agitation. People's committees in the villages and towns must be established where the members will live, learn and find solutions to the Afrikans in those areas and together they work for solutions based on the ideals of the movement. This will offer a great chance to recruit more to the movement.
The mass organisations must begin to transform to a political force which will then begin to directly address the political issues. As a political movement, it should be made aware that the ultimate aim is to change the existing system to conform to the wishes of the masses. Vanguard groups of the party should be made to accommodate men, women and youths through whom the political goal will be achieved. As a mass party, candidates must be nominated to represent the views of the party across all elective positions. A single candidate must be nominated for the top seat. All vanguard leagues must work in coordination to ensure victory for all candidates.
The elected leaders of the states they must together forge the single nation which was the ultimate aim of the movement. From this single nation the leader, if possible, must be among the small group which formulated the ideologies. This general leader must have interacted with all states throughout the developmental stages. A specific Afrikan title must be selected to the general leader.
The administrative operations of each state will still run as usual for a period of two years, the transition period. In this time, efforts must be made to the great patriotic masses of Afrikans to begin to learn, to live and to exist together as citizens of one nation. Free movement of Afrikans especially the young ones must be promoted through sponsorships by the federal leadership.
For success of these initial process of unity, we have to rely on states with common language, common history, a degree of transport interconnectedness. The common language must first be promoted so that a big number of Afrikans in the first phase states to unite can communicate freely with each other. In present Afrika no other region that shows ability to begin process of uniting than East Afrikan Community. EAC therefore must be the nucleus to uniting Afrika.
